Bring, take and send

Bring and Take

Bring
Bring means 'COME with'. We use bring when we are thinking about moving towards a place.

Example:-
Come here! Bring that umbrella with you.

Take
Take means 'GO with.' We  use take for movement away from a place.

Example:-
Go Away! Take your umbrella with you.

Send and Take

Send
When we send something, we do not go ourself. We use send mainly for letters, telegrams and parcels.

Example:-
Rina sent a postcard. (She did not go herself)

If we go ourself, we must use take

Example:-
Rina took some rambutans to her neighbour. ( She carried it herself)
